NCC Chapter News
The NCC of ODS had a really nice day and a great turnout for a “grooming to win” clinic. Our clinician was Linda Johnson from Elk City, Kansas. We started the afternoon off with hamburgers, and lots of extras that friends and members brought to share. After we ate we went to work with Linda grooming one of the horses. Then the lucky owner of this horsegot him pulled during the clinic.

After everyone had seen HOW TO Linda went around to everyone while they worked on their horses and helped them get a hands on with the pulling and braiding part of the clinic. We had 23 participants almost all with their own horses to practice on. What a great idea to have them bring their horses as that way everyone had hands on and personal coaching.

A Little Bit of Heaven opened up the arena for anyone who wanted to ride after the clinic, thinking a good idea for some with the first schooling show of the year for the NCC is coming up soon on April 12th, with Vicki Sharp as our judge.
Our board members are open to any and all ideas for more clinics and fun things to do together so if you have any ideas please don't hesitate to call or write one of the NCC board members.
